To be successful at this clinic, the right candidate should:

Hold an active license to practice physical therapy in the state of California or be eligible to obtain your license.

Provide a quality of care that will cause patients to rave about their experience and recommend us to their family, friends and doctors.

Be able to communicate with patients in a way that they understand that the suggested plan of care is right for them.

Demonstrate a willingness to working with patients of all ages and functional levels
-
Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient if necessary.

Be able to communicate clearly with doctors to ensure our patients are getting the care they need if our findings are deemed beyond our scope
-
Supervise Physical Therapist aides, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.

Demonstrate the willingness to collaborate with other PT’s to discuss different strategies for patient care/treatment plans
-
Demonstrate the willingness to be accountable for their performance
-
Ensure that clinical notes are kept up to date, accurate and in the agreed time frame needed to allow for timely billing
-
Be open and willing to take on students

Who We Are Looking For:
- A part-time physical therapist aide to Supports physical therapist plan of care.
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting them.
- Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests, allaying fears.
- Helps treat patients by applying heat packs; helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion; measuring mobility; performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.
- Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains physical therapist supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies, laundry.
